Mompeo Shortfilm Festival

Back to the appointment with the International Short Film Festival in Sabina, a festival renewed in the name, "Mompeo in Corto", in the new web site, and with a new Art Director, Maria Luisa Lafiandra.

An event that turns the spotlight on the magnificent Palazzo Baronale Orsini-Naro, built on the ruins of the villa of Pompeo Magno, which officially reopens its doors after its recent refurbishment.

The whole village, and especially its younger generation, takes possession of a unique heritage that aims to also become an attractive center for the growth of cultural tourism, in connection with any other historical realities art that enrich the country and allow to Mompeo to become a special local landmark.

The Festival, sponsored by the Ministro della Gioventù, will be realized thanks to the contribution of the Provincia di Rieti and the Regione Lazio and with the participation of numerous private sponsors to whom we express sincere thanks to the commitment in the promotion of an event that puts our region at the international attention.

We are confident that the value, variety and charm of the many proposals offered will be of interest, meet and entertain all those who honor us with their presence.

Ambassadors for Mompeo in Corto

While the first registrations for the MOMPEO INCORTO 2013 begin to arrive from all over the world (Registration closes on May 20th), the Event Manager Maria Luisa Lafiandra and staff of the Festival are outlining the first lines of the program (July 18th-20th) and to assess the first awards that traditionally the Mompeo in Corto gives to prominent personalities of cinema and for its many production mechanisms.
