3 Lune Short Film Contest

“Tre Lune Short Film Contest”, competition for directors and scriptwriters for origional short films set entirely in Mompeo and inspired by the symbols of local tradition:
Moon, Ring, Olive

Prizes
Prizes up to 2,000 Euro as well as the opportunity for the winning films to be shown on the Studio Universal television Channel, as well as discounts on the hire of filming equipment from one of the large services.

ENTRY RULES FOR THE "3 LUNE SHORT FILM CONTEST" FOR WRITERS AND DIRECTORS UNDER 30 YEARS OF AGE, ORIGINAL FILMS SET IN MOMPEO - ENTRIES TO BE RECEIVED BEFORE 28TH JUNE 2010

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCREENPLAY
1) Length: max. 3 pages. In the heading please indicate title, length, theme, author
2) Theme: The screenplay should be inspired by one or all of the following words: Moon, Ring, Olive
3) Location: The location must be within the area covered by the Comune of Mompeo
4) Format: Each page must consist of 30 lines of 60 characters each. Upper and lower margin: 7 centimetres. Left and right margins: 4,5 cm. Recommended t ypeface: "Courier New", 9 point
5) All themes are allowed
6) Language: Italian

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SHORT FILM
1) Date of production: From 1st May
2) Length: max 10 minutes
3) Theme: the film should be inspired by one or all of the following words: Moon, Ring, Olive
4) Location: The location must be within the area covered by the Comune of Mompeo
5) Format: 35mm, beta SP Pal, Digital Betacam Pal, DVCam, MiniDV, DVD
6) All themes are allowed
7) Language: Italian

For short films please attach the following:

a) A summary of the film's details: theme, length format, biographical details of the director, a brief synopsis (around 2 lines) as well as a longer synopsis (at least 10-15), 2 stills in digital format and information on any music used in the soundtrack.

b) 2 copies of the film in DVD format, on the box and back of which should be written (in capitals) the tiltle of the film, length and filmmaker's name.

The films and accompanying material (see above) should be delivered by hand, post or courrier service, to the following address:
